In linear systems, noises always destroy the transmission and processing of signal. However, in some nonlinear systems, the suitable noises can make the noises cooperate with the signal, which can improve the function of the systems, this phenomenon is called stochastic resonance.Focusing on multi-threshold system as the study object, based on mutual information and correlation coefficient, we study the stochastic resonance and supra-threshold stochastic resonance under Gaussian mixture noise. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part describes conception of stochastic resonance, the current situation of stochastic resonance at home and abroad, and the application of stochastic resonance, then introduces the study background of this dissertation.The second part is the theoretical knowledge. First, this part introduces some typical systems of stochastic resonance and the theory of stochastic resonance, then it lists the primary noises form, lastly, it shows the measurement when we study stochastic resonance.The third part is the signal transmission under Gaussian mixture noise in multi-threshold system. First, we introduce the multi-threshold system and Gaussian mixture noise, then based on mutual information, we study the phenomenon of stochastic resonance and supra-threshold stochastic resonance under Gaussian mixture noise in multi-threshold system.The fourth part is the signal correlation under Gaussian mixture noise in multi-threshold system. Mainly based on correlation coefficient, we study the phenomenon of stochastic resonance and supra-threshold stochastic resonance under Gaussian mixture noise in multi-threshold system.The fifth part is the summary and outlook.
