Perinatalmedicine is a becoming rapid development science the 1970s. It is extremely crucial significance to establish perinatalmedicine for reducing fetus or infant rate, ensuring maternal or infant health and improving the next generation quality. Fetal monitoring is one of the most important among the contents of perinatalmedicine. By the development of science and technology, the traditional fetal heart rates guardianship can not satisfy the demands of the continuously development of fetal monitoring. FECG signal with high quality indicates the potential values of paramount diagnosis and clinic. It can provide more custody on fetal information in utero compared with the traditional fetal heart rates guardianship. Therefore, it became the hot current researches to design a fetal ECG separation system and get clear FECG in this field.Currently, on the markets, the most fetal ECG monitoring instruments are mainly designed for hospitals and other medical institutions. It is not only expensive, but also needs huge volume and not easily for portable. At the same time, along with the improvement of people's living standards, the medical equipments gradually become smaller and smaller, and more suitable for family care, so the practicality and portability of medical equipment has faced to higher requirements. Thus, it has important significances to design an excellent performance, easily portable and price appropriate fetal ECG separation system.The main works in this paper are listed as follows:First, it introduced the important significance of acquire FECG signal, explained the generation principle and characteristics of the ECG signal. Moreover, it also analyzed interference and noise of the whole system, designed ECG signal acquisition module of excellent performance, which are including ECG signal amplifier and filter circuits.Secondly, it described the selection of DSP chips. TMS320VC5509A DSP was adopted as the main control chip of the FECG separation system. TMS320VC5509A chip is a low-power, low-cost, and high performance product of TI Company. With the TMS320VC5509A, it designed the system circuits, including sampling, storage and PC interface circuits.Then, it illustrated software design of system. Corresponding programs were written to realize the system control, ECG signal sampling, filtering, storage and communication this PC. Finally, the paper explained the PC software design and FECG extraction. Besides, it also showed the corresponding experimental result.
