| The development of network and information technology have brought tremendous influence to the library reference service.To have experienced in the traditional reference stage, single library digital reference stage, people paid more extensive attention to the development of the Collaborative Digital Reference Service (CDRS). At home, in the early 1990s, related articles appeared,and at the end of 1990s,the first project of CDRS appeared.So far, we have made some achievements in the theory and practice. But for the influence of technical strength level, funds, personnel and concepts, the development of domestic CDRS still in a primary beginning stages, and presents unbalanced development situation. By contrast, the theoretical research and practical application of CDRS in United States has always been a leader in the worldin the world. Therefore, this paper have made the following work:First, in order to find out the related academic research and theory study level, this paper has investigated the related theories of the scholars both at home and abroad, and analyzed them.Second, in order to understand the circumstance of the CDRS in American, this paper made a survey of 17 CDRS projects,which are widely applied in the United States.The survey details includ the start time,organization and management unit, members number, service mode,software, consulting mode, service object, service content and other concrete content.Third, in order to understand the circumstance of domestic CDRS, this paper made a thorough investigation of domestic CDRS through seek the links related,and some was found in documents. The survey details include the basic circumstances and related services.Fourth, according to the survey results of Chinese and American,this paper found out the differences between the two countries.Fifth, according to the survey results of domestic CDRS, and adopt the success experience of American's,at the end of this paper some suggestions was puts forward. |
