Design And Application Of IPTV Automatic EPG System

IPTV is a network multimedia technology based on steaming media technology. It is the advanced application of broadband network. Through the network, the users can watch the programs they want and can also be interactive with others. Nowadays, the IPTV Service is widely used by the operators in many countries and districts. The EPG Module is a window to show characteristics to the users. It is one of the core modules which applies the chief interface for the users'interaction. The common design of EPG in current digital TV is not appropriate for the EPG in IPTV System. Therefore, each operator has the specific requirements for designing the EPG Module with his own characteristic.According to the features of IPTV System, the thesis is on the design and realization of EPG Module and introduces a way for how to achieve it.
