Currently in storage networks, FCoE technology development most quickly, will completely change the current pattern of the storage network, and can become the dominant storage network protocols. SAN Storage Area Network is the high-speed data communication network between server and storage systems, with high reliability, scalability, and simple, having been widely used in the data center. FCoE technology will be mapped SAN data to the Ethernet network, enabling LAN and SAN integration in data center.In the TCP/IP network, to achieve high-speed data transfer and information sharing, server or computer that location is not close to form a virtual local area network,in purpose of ensuring the security of data. Also corresponds to the storage network, FCoE SAN protocol support will be composed of a network server appliance VSAN (Virtual Storage Area Network) on a logical division of physical facilities in SAN network. Network administrators based on the actual needs of network, join devices in different VSAN network.Entity in the same VSAN network have a common essential attribute of equipment. VSAN application in the network greatly enhances network security, availability and scalability to facilitate.But VSAN can not only access control Fabric servers and disk storage devices (N-PORT), ZONE described in this article can effectively solve this problem. The principle is the port in the VSAN further divided within the ZONE within different zone isolated port in purpose of access control. User can create ZONE in the VSAN, ZONE can be added the members of N-port for different purposes. A device can belong to several zones, in the ZONE members port is marked through WWN, FCID.In this paper, through CMM thinking in software engineering, analysis the realization ZONE function in FCoE systems, ZONE merge modules is part of ZONE modules. Merger is defined as when the network topology changes, the network device configuration according to certain rules ZONE Data Merge, to form a unified data, and finally will spread the unified data in the whole network. The paper first discusses design and implementation mechanisms of ZONE in FCoE systems, analysis major demand points. Introduced the relationship ZONE merge modules associated with peripheral modules and the configuration data stored ZONE data structure and the key technologies used.
