The communication system can achieve higher diversity gain with the help of cooperative relays sending messages. Cooperative relay technology is proposed based on the MIMO. Unlike MIMO, cooperative relay communication system has no required to antenna amounts of the transmitter. To achieve space diversity, the cooperative relay communication system forms the virtual MIMO with the idle network nodes, so it can improve the reliability of the information transmission. Network coding can help to enhance the system throughput, which can improve the effectiveness of the information transmission. In this paper, the system performance is analyzed with network coding and cooperative relay technology. In this paper, two models are researched: the traditional cooperative model based on network coding and the joined feedback cooperative model based on network coding. First, the system performance with two relay strategies is analysised in the traditional cooperative model based on network coding. The theoretical analysis and simulation show that the system performance under the second relay strategy is better than the system performance under the first relay strategy. Then, the system performances of two models are compared, and get the conclusion: the system performance of the joined feedback cooperative model based on network coding is better than the traditional cooperative model's. We optimize the allocation powers of the two models, and obtain the optimal power allocation coefficients under different SNR, explain the value case of the optimal power allocation coefficients in the two models. Finally, research outlook for future work is carried out.
