Study On The Display Design Of Revolutionary Historical Museum

Revolutionary historical museum as memorial building mainly to commemorate the major historical events and historical figures in modern revolution history and which usually built on the revolutionary sites. Large numbers of such museums in China were used to promote the national historical culture and propaganda patriotism education. However, it was found that such a museum was moving away from the social and mass as the reasons of serious subjects, preaching strong, display monotonous way, the lack of new materials, new technology and other reasons. To improve this situation, this paper made the following work, first analyzed the revolutionary historical museum characteristics from display history, display system, display themes, display artifacts, display environment, and summarized the basic elements of display design, and the basic principles of design theory, which related to the revolutionary historical museum exhibition design method of exhibition space. From the showroom design, dynamic line design, and display atmosphere, scene recovery design, light environment design, color design etc were elaborated the main content of exhibition space environment design. As the actual case, display design of the Red Army Theatre museum in Wangcang Red Army City, was applied the theoretical study and the new museum display design method, described the specific implementation of variety of display design theory and methods in the form of actual case. Finally, looking for development trends and exploring modern means of communication of revolutionary historical museum,by the study of the internal relations between a number of cross-disciplinary and museum display design.
