The Optical Time Division Multiplexing technique (for short is OTDM) is one of the most significant technology of the high speed and large capacity laser communication systems in the future which is applied in optical fiber communication systems extensively. In the aspect of optical fiber communication systems, the OTDM is a mature technology which can achieve comparatively high speed, nevertheless, there is plenty of research which have to be improved in the realm of space optical communication systems.The fundamental factors of the OTDM contain:narrow pulse laser source, optical delay technique, time division multiplexing/de-multiplexing, electro-optic modulation, etc.This paper research the key techniques comprehensively, setup up a space laser emitted system based on OTDM, research with actual devices and concrete parameter. At the end of the paper, we make a simulation for this system with the software of OptiSystem. Eventually, we obtain a good outcome by adjust and rectify the detail of the parameter of the devices.
