An effective method for frequency conversion is Stimulated Raman Scattering. The obtained Raman laser wavelength is determined by the wavelength of the fundamental pump laser and the Raman shifts of the Raman-active media. Intracavity Raman lasers utilize the higher intracavity power densities can lead to low-threshold operation and high conversion effciencies. LD-pumped all soled state intracavity Raman lasers have many merits such as compactness, high efficiency and stability. Therefore, the intraeavity solid state Raman lasers have attracted a great deal of attention in recent years.The paper considers the influence of thermal lens effect on Solid state Raman laser, gets a space distribution on photon numbers density of Fundamental lasers and Raman lasers, obtains rate equation about Q-switched lasers intracavity Raman of thermal effect of laser crystal. This paper mainly researches thermal effect's influence on intracavity Raman laser, then gives a systematic study dividely about the ways of thermal effect passing equivalent thermal lens under these two kinds of situations which include medium seperation and self-Raman. It also uses computer software to derivate caculation, reaching some parameter's design proposals in cavity resonator under thermal effect. In the paper, it takes such experiment for example, using Nd:YAG and GdVO4 as Solid state Raman laser of laser medium and Raman medium, analysing and comparing the results of experiment and caculation. at last, giving the model a better check.
