This article has established a comprehensive two-dimensional thermal diffusion models with pyroelectric detector, deduced a formula generally response equation; According to the response equation to deduce out many devices's response equation under certain conditions; the resulting equation to calculate the device noise voltage; then, based on the rate of noise voltage and detection, exporting a variety of devices detection rate formula; the establishment of an experimental system, the measured value and the theory of experimental values to compare are close to the theoretical value, proved correct,and the final analysis is how to increase the detection rate of the probe.This thesis is divided into five parts, and give the purpose of this article and a general overview of the content, while describing the uses of infrared system in military and civil engineering; the second part of the entry to the pyroelectric detector response of analysis, in the establishment of a common response equation, exporting the establishment of an ideal device equation; the third part describes the pyroelectric detector performance parameters, thereby achieving total detection rate, and then export the formula of a variety of device detection rate equation; the fourth part is to establish a test system, the performance of the detector is tested, and proposing improvements, at the same time obtained the detection rates value by experiment, and compared with the theoretical values, analying the causes of the error; the fifth part proposes the ways to improve the detection rate.
