In 3D measuring technology, the structured light method has been widely usedbecause it is of high speed,efficiency and resolution. Using the structured light inmedical field to improve the sensitivity of the surgeon operation and the accuracyof focal region orientation has important medical and social value.In order to achieve rapid and high-quality 3D reconstruction, the threedimensionalreconstruction technologies based on composite structured light hasbeen researched. The main contents of this paper are:1. Based on structured light techniques for 3D measurement, a compositecoding way is presented. Color stripe pattern is used as basic coding element andintensity properties are introduced for every color stripes to design coding pattern.In the reconstruction, both peak-based reconstruction and edge-based reconstructionare used. Experimental results show that the combination of two kinds ofreconstruction style can ensure higher reconstruction accuracy and resolution.2. Sensor noise as well as color-cross talk is detected between the projectorspectra and the sensor filters, so the colors of the captured stripes are not same asthe projected colors, it will interfere stripe matching. A method of color-distinctionwith K-Means algorithm is proposed in the paper. For every kind of a projectioncolor, straight 3D lines are fitted through the clusters in RGB space to formprototypes of these clusters. Experiment shows that this method can improve theaccuracy of separation of chromatic stripe.3. Because real scenes often have occlusions, shadows, and surface discontinuities. It is therefore not realistic to assume that every projected transitionis visible in the image. This paper addresses the mislabeling problem by introducinga dynamic programming algorithm. Experiment results show that the method caneffectively solve the stripe missing problem and reduce the stripe matching error.4. The simulation of projector, camera and 3D object in 3DS MAX are alsostudied. A 3D simulating measuring system was established to demonstrate thefeasibility of 3D reconstruction in surgeon surgery.
