With the development of science and technology and network penetration, the global Internet and e-commerce are growing rapidly. This requires e-commerce site can provide better service to meet the changes of user's habits and needs, bring a good user experience and creating some economic interests. Category navigation service is a very important part of e-commerce user experience, and makes the users easily and quickly, spending less time finding the products they need. But the traditional category navigation system shows the category information rigidly according to system. For better user experience, category navigation system being consistent with the dynamic changes and user's habits is urgent need.First, this paper introduces the background of electronic commerce and category navigation, and analysis new requirements. Second, it designs the structure of e-commerce navigation based on categories, the structure consists of data preparation module, category dictionary module and online query module. For reflecting the users concerned about category's dynamic changes, the system introduces a scoring system of categories and attributes, and then gets the peak category according to the differences in category scores. And system establishes categories dictionary including of categories and attribute information by double-array trie technology, makes read data quickly. At the same time, online query strategy returns the results for this category of information according to the categories'type. Finally, this paper tests the system by the different dimensions: through Unit testing, the correctness of the key elements can be ensured; through functional testing, the needs can be validated to achieve; through performance testing, the system's stable and efficient operation can be ensured.
