With the continuous development of IOT, as one of the core technology of the IOT, RFID/EPC system was researched more and more deeply in recent years. Although most companies and suppliers pay their attention to implementation effectiveness and return on investment of RFID/EPC system, with the expansion of the scope of application of RFID/EPC system, the security risks it brings has been attention by people. Various physical security mechanisms and encryption security mechanisms have been proposed, but the security risks of RFID/EPC system remain. Therefore, a efficient and practical security mechanism proposed for RFID/EPC system application has a very important significance. This thesis analysis the security risks of RFID/EPC system deeply based on describing the concepts, characteristics and prospects of RFID/EPC system. In response to these security risks, this thesis introduces and analyzes some of the current solution strategies. Then it analyzes and compares variety of encryption strategies. This thesis proposes Hybrid-Encryption protocol as a new encryption security protocol which is improved by introduction of symmetric encryption algorithm based on existing cryptographic security mechanism. This protocol fully uses the advantages of the two encryption algorithms. It encrypted communication data with the combination of the two encryption algorithm, which raising the security of RFID/EPC system effectively. To show the efficiency of Hybrid-Encryption protocol, this thesis does experiments and analysis. The results show that this protocol has a limited impact on the speed of encryption, but it can reduce the risks of deciphered effectively. Finally, this thesis gives a feasible example.
