Sketch drawing is the most simple and rapid method to express the idea of people of object modeling, record and capture moments of inspiration and idea. Based on the sketch drawing and combining the powerful computer modeling technical advantage, the 3D modeling is becomes more institutes and colleges research hotspots in recent years.3D technology is in the virtual reality and create, as virtual have shown freedom, also has a taste of the subject, and for visual to demand, the aesthetic appreciation of people from the angle of the art of love with art, and enjoy. The role model is a three-dimensional the basis of the model world, not only need to learn and polygons numbs for modeling technology, should have a good shape, and spaces understanding to learn to the beauty of the unique。For the design,3d o card I proposed "geometry body" thoughts, referring to o card is based on two-dimensional 3ds Max data in using box will pile into geometric referring to o card of a body of thought. Because the prototype o card nonstandard grass drawing, using a digital data technology, will all the parts o card with digital expression comes out, first the previous modeling experience, correct analysis the characteristics of the grass drawing, and then reuse related technical means, such as measuring, estimate the dimensional proportion o card will be displayed with digital, based on the analysis of the 2d sketch in 3d model, not making before the early will o card image through 3d digital simulation comes out, such as making "geometric reference can provide reasonable simulation body" digital.This paper systematically introduces the present development situation, and the basic theory, design methods and key technology based on the 3D sketch drawing; also thorough research on the 3D modeling cartoon character.(1) The design scheme is summarized through the analysis of characteristics of Aka appearance. Firstly making sketch drawing Aka image 3D basic on the head and body shape, again making other physical part.(2) The thought of modeling the 3D animation image from the 2D sketch drawing is offered, and on the basis of thought modeling Aka on sketch drawing. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of sketch, stroke, characteristics identification, analysis of surface structure, spatial position estimation and the unreasonable phenomenon in the sketch drawing, finally the Aka 3D modeling is completed.(3) The following main design schemes are put forward:According to the head characteristics of Ala sketch drawing and combination the head structure of human, the 3D making methods for the head of Aka is offered; According to the body characteristics of Ala sketch drawing and combination the body structure of human's body, the 3D making methods for the body of Aka is offered; According to the arms and legs characteristics of Ala sketch drawing and combination the arms and legs structure of human, the 3D making methods for the arms and legs of Aka is offered. According to the clothing of Aka sketch drawing, the 3D clothing making methods for Aka is offered.
