Build is a very important part in software development life cycle, in the tradi-tional concept, build can be understood as a compiling process from source code to binary file, but with the expansion of research and development, build has become more complex, it is no longer just compiling and link, which covers the compilation process management, build automation, build the machine management, unified com-pile, share information and many other fields. Companies spend more and more time and resources in the build field, if the lack of effective management in these areas will result in many problems, these problems will directly impede the efficiency of R & D and affect product quality.Build Management Platform is build management software, which can resolve a number of build issues, effectively bridge product development and test in software life cycle, improve research and development environment.Firstly, the current requirement in build management area was analyzed in this paper, introduced a common build management workflow and the significance of Build Management Platform. And then also defined the six objectives of Build Man-agement Platform of:the implementation of building automation; to ensure consisten-cy in the build environment; launch build automatically; the change of build state in timely and transparent manner; the detailed and easy-to-find build log; unified man-agement and scheduling of build machine. Then, around the six goals, the paper launched in-depth analysis and design, completed the overall design of Build Man-agement Platform, including system software architecture, database model, etc; com-pleted the detailed design and implementation of Build Management Platform, includ-ing the division of function modules, as well as details of each module design, etc.
