Consist information is the base information received by the next stop and transportation organizations when a train is starting, including the detailed information of the train and its composition, which is essential for the processes such as grouping operation, unloading forecast, the adjustment of traffic. Consist information exchange platform supports data exchange and seamless share working as a core system platform for the operation of the railway administration. With economy developing fast, China's high-speed rail technology has rapidly been improved, and the train traffic dramatically increased, resulting in excessive pressure faced by rail consist system, more difficulty in managing the station reported freight, and the efficiency of message transmission can not be guaranteed. The needs of transportation can not far be met. The current transport issue needed to be resolved is how to improve timeliness and ensure accuracy of consist report. The most effective solution of these problems is to establish railway distributed system of consist based on MQ Series.Firstly, the Chinese rail freight situation of consist systems is analyzed, and the necessity of MQ Series-based railway distributed consist information system is cleared. On this basis, core functionality of the distributed consist information system is discussed and the processes of automatic transmission forwarding of consist and the consist processing is analyzed. Then the adoption of B/S system architecture on the level of railway administration and railway branch administration is analyzed and determined, distributed platform management service subsystem for front and back reporting information exchange subsystem and so on are detailed designed, of which the consist report forward, capture and recording based on MQ Series distributed system are mainly discussed. Finally, system characteristics, application effect and system investment efficiency are analyzed.
