Passive locating technology is a method to use the radiating signal of the target itself or other source information to locate. Passive locating is new-type and has important effect on aviation, spaceflight and electronic warfare, which is developed since the active radar is threatened by four-counter measure. The passive radar that uses the radiating signal of the target itself is weak on the detection randomness since when the target has not radiating signal, it can not detect and the continuity of the detect can not be ensured. The radar, which uses the broadcasting or TV signal as the external radiating source, has the features of not only the passive radar but also the active radar, which is one development trend of the future radar. The paper analyzes the features of the simulated TV signal and digital TV signal and brings forward the system design idea and suppression technology especially against directive wave jamming that have engineering implementati...
