Based on the problems in the detecting technology of highway earth subgrade compaction at this stage and the rapid development of the laser image testing technology,this paper discusses the laser image testing technology's applying to the detecting of soil compactness through experiment.According to this paper's hopothesis,we design a testing device of the soil compactness detecting using laser image technology.We give the detailed description of the compacted soil samples' preperation.Using this device,we do many experiments,obtain the laser images of different moisture contents and compactnesses.Through the processing of the images,we can get different kinds of information of the image's feature.We can make data analysis about the image's information.The analyses include not only the correlation analysis of the image feature information and the compactness when the moistures are same,but also the correlation analysis of the image feature information and the moisture when the soil samples' compaction are about the same.Finally,this paper constructed the predictive model based BP neural network.Using the model,we predict the compactness of the soil.Compare the predicted values with the measured values, we can obtain the predictive errors of most samples are under 2%.
