It is well known that a basketball player's performance is affected by a lot of factors,yet,the strength ability plays the fundamental role among all of them. Thus,this article is carried out by analyzing and discussing the particularity of strength from the perspective of kinematics and kinetics.According to the development of sports in the past,the revolutionary reform of the strength training will launch a great progress on the athletic techniques.The conclusion was drawn by taking experiments on the basketball players of our university and analyzing the outcome,and the purpose is exploring the ways and means on basketball players' strength training.And this article mainly discussed the following topics:1.In this article,the elasticity of muscle was taken consideration in the basketball skill training,so to find a way to improve the players' outbreak strength.Since, in the conventional strength training,the congeniality between the sports unique character and strength training were often neglected,the big load or jumping exercises is widely divergent from the specialization of strength training.2.In the text book,the skills of penetration and lay up were taught to take the so called "first long and second short steps",while in this article the simple and single movement way was developed.By using a lot of different measure,such as declivity running,big step jumping,decreasing resistance strength training, the players step skills were trying to be improved and so to make a possible larger or shorter step freely in order to evade the defensive players.And in this article a point of view was brought forward,that is,strength training and skill training are relative and opposite,they can not go perfectly all the way,and strength training can not surpass skill training,but we can try to combine them together in the aspects of difficulty,load and speed. 3.In the experiment,the measure of taking and passing solid balls,swinging weights, decreasing resistance sand vest,back jumping on steps and etc were taken to improve the players' legs,arms and body strength training.4.By using different measures to train two separate teams and testing the players in the same way,we found,though,the players in both of the two teams all improved their skills,yet,the players in the experimental team improved comparatively obvious.So,it' s reasonable to believe to attach more importance on the ways and measures which were taken on the experimental team.The research was carried out for trying to offer suggestion and advice for basketball players' strength training,and so to the other athletic sports games.
