Concerning the ideological condition of the college students under the influence of multiplevalues, this paper, breaking through the traditional idea of running a school with the administrativemanagement and the political-ideological education operating separately, expounds thedevelopment of our college students' ideological and political education from the integration pointof view. The progress has mainly went through three stages: in the beginning, it strengthened themoral education; later, it gave play to the college administration in the education; then it advocatedthe principle of integrating the administration with the education issued by the Central Committeeof CPC and the State Council. Nowadays, the significance of the integration is highly appreciated.In this paper, the author studies carefully the relationship between the college administration and thepolitical-ideological education. They differ from each other but also connect with each other,showing mutual penetration and interdependence. Furthermore, the author probes deeply into thefactors that impede their integration and proposes approaches to solve the problem after analyzingthe conditions, forms and principles of the integration. The final solution falls on a close integrationof the two methods, producing joint forces to promote the healthy development of the collegestudents. At the end of the paper, the author puts forward two problems requiring keen attention inthe process of integration.
