The first part is summary study. Based on introducing the definition of sensation and perception, the development of children's sensation and perception abilities, and researches on sensation and perception scales at home and abroad, the research puts forward the necessary to compiling a sensation and perception scale for special children and the theoretical framework of the scale which is called2+2+2.Then according to special children's psychological characteristics, the second part confirms scale framework and scale items on the basis of the previous scales and the curriculum guidelines of sensorimotor training. In the third part, the research summarizes the specialists'suggestions and the conclusion of pretest, and after that the scale takes shape initially. In the forth part, the researcher gets the formal scale after analyzing the results of initial test which involves31special children. In the fifth part, the research inspects reliability and validity of the formal scale which involves another90special children。In the sixth part, the research develops the referable norm which involves181normal children aged3-6yrs. In the seventh part, the author only analyses the sensation and perception of children with intellectual disability. Because, there are75children with intellectual disability among the90special children in the formal test. The number of other kind of special children dissatisfies principle of Statistics. The research indicates the following results. The critical ratios of the scale items are from2.095to35.620. As for the whole scale and the subscales the Cronbach's Alphas are from0.825to0.985. The Pearson Correlation Coefficients between two scorers are from0.860to0.986. The agreement percents between two scorers are from81.85to91.39. The test-retest reliability coefficients are from0.678to0.878.The sensation and perception abilities of children with intellectual disability are lower than the ones of normal preschool children significantly. As for children with intellectual disability there is a significant difference between different grades. But there is no difference between different sexes and ages.
