The Chinese Localization Study On Social Work Practice

Social problems and social conflicts occur frequently because China remains in the social transition. In the process of social structure adjustment, the interests and requests of social disadvantaged groups are often not met at once so that social conflicts are increasingly acute, affecting social stability and social harmony. As the service-oriented government concept of small government and big society is brought in, the social management function of government will be constantly enhanced. The growing non-governmental organizations also begin to take part in the social management and social services. Civil affairs have a long history and cultural origin in China, and still play an irreplaceable role in the social transformation period of China today.The Chinese localization of social work practice is the necessary requirement of west social work practice in the China development.
