Music as a means of Physical Education, has its particularity, the music has a strong appeal, the power of people with probation, and music teaching in sports more and more widely. Physical Education Music broke dull and boring atmosphere, increasing the students interest and hobbies, so that students more easily grasp the athletic skills, which can cultivate character, sound body and mind. Can be said that physical education is inseparable from music, physical education and music will be more exciting combination of sport and music, can promote the sport from a closed to an open classroom, from school to community, to foster high-quality personnel.This study is based on this thinking, through literature, questionnaires, expert interviews, logical analysis, mathematical statistics, Shanxi Province and the General Department of Physical Education of College Physical Education undergraduate music methods applied status of the system, objective analysis and evaluation, while PE teachers college physical education status of the application of music means a survey tool for music teaching in physical characteristics, summarized the problems and summary, then there is to focus on the development of corresponding countermeasures.The results show that:1. Shanxi Province, most of physical education majors experienced music teaching methods combined with physical education teaching contents, teaching methods, but the current music and physical education is not a good combination of the basic situation;2. Currently, Shanxi Province Universities in Physical Education Teaching aerobics, dance, martial arts, Yoga and other items commonly used in music teaching methods, and other items such as:three balls, track and field, table tennis, tennis, taekwondo use of music teaching methods little capacity;3. Shanxi PE teachers use music to physical education teaching methods courses in attitude is necessary, but some teachers have their own low level of understanding of music is not enough, the lack of existing school facilities, resources lead normal teaching activities can not start;4.
