Math is an extraordinary culture with long history. It consists of enormous contents ,important ways of thinking and accurate language of math. It plays an important part in modern civilization as well. Math teaching is the teaching of math activities, and it's the process of the multi communication of between the studunts. The process of the cornmunication can not be random . It should base on certain lognitive level and former required experience .In the whole process ,the teacher should stimulate the interest of learning and positive attitude ,and make students take part in the process of learning .In this process students have enough experience understanding, discussion, and then grasp math knowledge and skills and ways of thinking in math ,in order to establish the systern of math knowledge of their own. Students need self study and cooperation study.The author did a survey of the students in Grade 2011 and Grade 2012 in Qingyang Experimental Middle School and found out that students are not active in math class, and they didn't realize the importance of self learning and cooperation study. In the whole teaching process, the students depend too much on the teacher. This essay mainly discussed how to put self study and cooperation study into real practice, and analyzed the basis of the above two ways of learning and conduct the reformation of the math teaching modal.In the end, it is proved that math learning is a complex process. It requires different learning ways to play an important part in this process. Students need self study to foster the ability of thinking independently and solving the problems. Cooperation study is also required for the students to get the best way of solving the problems. In this way, math learning can be efficient.
