Vector is one of the significant and basic conceptions in contemporary mathematics, which also acts as an important tool and bridge between algebraic geometry and trigonometric function. Also it's an important language of mathematics which is extensively applied in physics and science.Although vectors are well-known for their good operational gender, the immediacy in geometry, conciseness in approaches of illustrating and solving problems, they haven't been introduced in textbooks in high school until recently. Under the influence of traditional mathematics knowledge and thinking, high school students are not experienced in both mastering the knowledge and application of it, and people attached little importance to research in this area by teachers. This article aims to reorganize and rethink about these aspects to improve efficiency in teaching in this area and also to enhance the teaching effects so as to deepen students' understanding and application of vectors. This article is based on the necessity of introducing vectors in high school and will firstly investigate and analyze the current situation in learning and teaching plane vectors in high schools. It will point out the advantages and disadvantages of the current teaching models in classes. It also aims to illustrate my own teaching process and reflection by learning and reading the most recent educational theories, in line with the revolution in classes in our school which is known as "Study on your own, Cooperate in research"In conclusion, this article aims to discuss the following aspects. Firstly, students now or even teachers haven't paid enough attention in this new area; secondly, students are not aware of applying vectors as effective tools; lastly, the new teaching models in our school outweighs the previous ones.
