During the tens of years of educational reform in mathematics ,one of the important features is that vector gets into the middle school textbook. Meanwhile.many foreign textbooks also introduce the knowledge of vector in varying degrees. Its knowledge has come into the exper imental textbooks since 1970s in China .especially into the teaching materials compiled by the ministry of Education . The knowledge of vector permeates into the mathematics teaching in the middle school. And the way of using vector to deal with the problems concerned about Geometrical , trigonometry make and so on leads to a great amount of good exploration.According to the importance and practical use of vector .this essay first makes a research about the teaching and learning of vector .from which the present teaching situation is analyzed and understood.A conclusion is drawn :Its teaching content is not so easy , and teaching shouldn't only pay attention to the result .while underestimates its process. Second ,the writer manages to make further analyses from the teaching view of plain vector .and this essay analyzes its basic train of teach i ng thought . At last, the writer joins the contents of plain vector and trigonometric function together , and make further discussion about how to solve the geometrical problems by using plain vector.
