The P.E teacher of college should cultivate the life-long learning spirit, and also cultivate the self-assessment ability. raising the self-assessment consciousness of the PE teachers is the precondition of advocate the life-long learning spirit. the college P.E teachers'teaching level high or low is depending on whether the teacher have a strong self-assessment ability or not.To project the teacher-oriented status in college PE courses together with the evaluation of the PE teachers themselves has become an issue.Hence, to take the PE teachers and physical education experts as the respondents, this essay is to find out the present situation of self-evaluation work in the PE teachers' vision. and then make a systematically and deep analysis, find out the problem buried in self-evaluation of teachers,and then analyze the factors which affect the efficiency of self-evaluation of teachers,explore the solution in teaching pratice ,carry out the true function in self-evaluation to arouse the zeal in work, and development in their field.
