Learning motivation is the internal drive to stimulate and keep the students to participate in the physical training; it will influence the students' skill acquisition and teaching quality. In this paper, using the documentary information and using first grade pupils in Yucai primary school of Caojie in Hechuan district as subject to carry on the experimental study, by the methods of observing and statistics, we get the experiment results. Some conclusions are obtained as follows:1 Comparative study of the basic skills test of the two groups before and after the experiment shows that:the two groups can improve themselves to reach the remarkable level in the three items of teaching content, the experiment proves that getting the special training in the early stage can effectively promote the football beginners' ball awareness and the mastery of skills, all kinds of motivation are just the same. So the stage is crucial for improving the quality of instruction and inducing the motivation.2 Comparative study of physical quality of the control group and treatment group before and after the experiment shows that:after the football training,the 12 minutes running results of the two groups are improved obviously and reach the remarkable level, the improvement of sensitivity of Illinois speed and standing jump is not apparent. it also shows that in football foundation stage, whatever the type of the motivation is beneficial to aerobic capacity.3 Comparative study of skills test of the control group and treatment group before and after the experiment shows that:after the systematic training, two groups make certain progress on the football skills, but when it comes to teaching effect, the control group is better than the treatment group. So compared with external motivation, the internal motivation can effectively promote the beginners to master the football skills when they are getting the special training in the early stage.4 Comparative study of physical quality test of the control group and treatment group before and after the experiment shows that:after the systematic training, there is no significant difference between the improvement of three items of physical quality of the two groups, it shows clearly that no matter what kind of motivation is adopted for a football foundation stage, there is also no significant difference in promotion of the students'physical quality of football.
