Sports schools are middle professional schools which teach students sports movements as well as competitive skills. The basic tasks are to cultivate and transport high-leveled sports back-up personnel and qualified middle sports professional persons on moral, mental and physical education for our country.Atheletes in our country have taken part in important sports affairs and gained excellent marks more and more, so the sports school scale is larger and larger. Meanwhile, the obvious roles are played in competitive sports and public sports. Statistics suggest that the number of middle sports schools adds up to around 232 which contain more than 60 thousand students. It is obvious that sports school will give full scope to our country's sports industry.However, with the development of economy and the improvement of society, the students from middle sports schools cann't meet the need of society because of the lowerness of cultural basis, the singleness of vocational skill and increasing of employment difficulty. Therefore, the influence of this kind of schools decreases gradually, in particular the singularity and obsolescence in courses arrangement. In a word, the existence and development are passing through a rigorous test.This article makes investigation and analysis on courses arrangement, personnel cultivation and reform measures through documents, questionares, interviews, statistics and logic analysis.Middle sports schools are a part of middle vocational professional schools. As a result, we should adjust curriculum setting, enhance education for all-around development and cultivate qualified personnel, which meet the need of strenghening courses system reform and cultivating high-quality persons as well as putting forward an important measure which make sure the sustainable development.The research results are as followed:First, the main problems on courses setting in middle vocational schools at present.1.The current curriculum arrangement has not adapt to the social development to some extent.2. Contents of textbooks are divorced from the factual situation, lack of pertinence. Hence, most students hate studying and a great number of students drop out of schools.3.The lack of necessary accessories limits the teaching contents and results in low teaching quality. 4.Courses setting attaches importance to competitive sports but ignores all-round qualities, especialy mental health education and moral education.5.The lack of effective evaluation mechanism. On one hand, the evaluative way on studying grades is unressonable. On the other hand, the evaluative mechanism between teachers and students is non-standard.Second, the solutions to the problems.1.Definitude goals and tasks further.2.Renovate educational and curriculum concept.3.Reform courses contents and setting.4.Focus on the development and usage of curriculum resource.5.Strenghen moral education in physical education.6.Establish new assessment rules and regulations, tools and methods.
