Korean Youth In Beijing Cross-cultural Adaptation Research

With the establishment of the socialistic market-oriented economy mechanism and the continuing development of the reforming and opening policy, people from various nationalities flowing frequently. Therefore, apart from the adaptation of the transient population in large cities who come from the rural area, the intercultural adaptations of the minorities who live in cities are gradually concerned by researchers. A lot of scholars at home study about social and national education have investigated the minorities'adaptation to the cities led by Han nationality, but few of whom have ever studied about the particular population of one specific nationality.In this thesis, I would like to discuss the adaptation of young people of Korean nationality in Beijing after they lived here, and to come up with some measures that improve the young Korean's abilities of adaptation. All this for the reference and enlighten of Korean nationality's development in our country.This thesis takes the young Korean nationality that lives in Wangjing area of Beijing as the research object. Through the questionnaire and interview method of study, this paper discusses young Korean nationality's status of cross cultural adaptation and influence factors. At last, this study proposed some cross-cultural adapting strategies.First, This paper introduced the reasons of topic selection, value of this research, related research review, the core concept and the basic theory and methods and steps of this study.From the Research Angle of psychological adjustment condition and cross-cultural adaptation, the Chapter one and Chapter two analysis status of cross cultural adaptation and influence factors of young Korean nationality's who lives in Wangjing area of Beijing.On the basis of the investigation and analysis results, the final section of the paper put forward the educational strategy from the national school education for the Korean nationality, Korean nationality that lives in Beijing, Social network education, intercultural education for citizens and Enterprise Management to improve the level of cross-cultural adaptation for Korean nationality that lives in Beijing.
