Geospatial spatial thinking is one of the core elements of geography capacity, and is one of the students′necessary capacities in geography learning. This paper studied some related concepts about geo-spatial thinking, such as geographic space, spatial thinking, and geographic capabilities, and based on them, this paper defined the concept of geo-spatial thinking and cleared the levers and elements of it. Then combined domestic and international study related to mental model, this paper tried to build an operational and visual model. Finally, this paper applied the model to analyze the college entrance examination tests about the requirements of geospatial thinking. This model chose geo-spatial elements, auxiliary tool for geo-spatial thinking and spatial thinking process as the three dimensions. Based on summing up some major geo-spatial elements, geo-spatial elements divided into two categories: single space element and complex spatial elements. Auxiliary tool for geo-spatial thinking divided into two categories: using of auxiliary tools for geo-spatial thinking and no using of auxiliary tools for geo-spatial thinking. Spatial thinking process divided into there categories: spatial perception, spatial analysis and space applications. These subclasses intertwined and identified 12 modules representing different geo-spatial thinking abilities. This article assessed the last 5 years'College Entrance Examination with the model, from the perspectives of Geo-spatial thinking ability'test. The evaluation contained the proportion, required level and the complex of the two. By analyzing, we can find that the test's proportion declined, but the proportion is still large and required level rose over all. The tests'focus changed into the depth from the quantity. |
