The establishion of students'geographical spatial concepts is a object that must be emphasized in the process of teaching geography. Nowadays, most students have the difficulty in sudying the geographical spatial concepts, so it's important to probe into the causes of difficulty in studying geography space, and take effective action to improve the present state, which can not only offer great assistance to students'geographiy study, but also have significant theoretical value and practical significance to better education work about geography.The article firstly expound the relevant theoretical researches, which are the theoretical foundations, about study problems and space concept; meanwhile, associated with subject features,definite the study problem of geographical spatial concepts .Basing on it, design questionnaires on the study of geographical spatial concepts. According to the result achieved from the questionnaires , interviews, etc, we can analyze the causes of the problem from the following four aspectes: subject factor, teacher factor, student factor and family factor. Then,separately from the angle of teachers and students, propose specific strategies about the learning difficulties of geographical spatial concepts.With these strategies, hope to provide theoretical guidance on solving the students' geography learning problems for front-line teachers, to provide corresponding basis for these students to improve their overall study level, to provide evidence of cases and beneficial references for the transformation of these students,and also to provide beneficial references for the transformation of the students having other subjects'learing difficulties.
