China has traditionally rural society, the clan forces as the basic characteristics of a native of China, in a very long period, because the state power of the traditional forms of social support and has become an important part. Beginning of this century, our country has undergone major changes in the grassroots, the clan forces weakened. However, since the 1980s, the state implemented grassroots democracy, into a rational system of village autonomy, along with clan forces have a certain amount of recovery. Faced with such a significant and emerging phenomenon of clan activities, whether rural building a harmonious society will be subject to the shocks and challenges, academia and government continue to be based understanding of the democratic revolution, criticize it, deny it, fight it, ban it, or efforts to develop a modern economy and science and culture, let it fade into history? Or to guide its transformation, so that the development of modern social groups and building a harmonious society auxiliary power? This is an urgent need to resolve a major issue.This article will conduct field research in rural clan forces, as a case study of the Long-Shi village of Long-Shi township in jiangxi province, visit clan forces and the complex interactions between rural harmony, explore new clan forces of justice, democratic and rural governance secondary path.
