A Study Of The Expression Of MMP-1 And TIMP-1 At The Enthesiopathy And The Intervention Effects By Acupuncture

Objective: Through the studies of expression of MMP-1 and TIMP-1 at the Enthesiopathy of Rat Achilles as well as the relations on molecular level, reveals its pathogenesis. Adopt acupuncture to control the enthesiopathy happened. The prevention and treatment effect proof acupuncture can be used as a terminal disease rat Achilles tendon.Methods:40 male Wister rats were divided into the blank group,the exercise group, the prevention group ,the treatment group and the treatment-control group, each group only 8. Except for blank group, the other groups to impose electrical stimulation jumping made modules for 6 weeks. The prevention group gives the acupuncture everyday after the jumping two weeks later. When the jumping ended after six weeks, the treatment group gives the acupuncture and the treatment-control group didn't. At the end of the experiment, we observed the morphology of the end of the organization of Achilles tendon by Electron microscopy and Light microscope, at the same time we detect the expression of MMP-1 and TIMP-1 by immunohistochemistry.Results:1. There are obvious signs of enthesiopathy at the rat achilles tendon after six weeks electrical stimulation of jumping movement. The jumping ability, and jump times of prevention group rats, obviously higher than the model group, differences were statistically significant.2. Electron microscopy and Light microscope of the morphology of the privation group and the treatment group are better than the exercise group. 3. The expression of MMP-1,TIMP-1 and MMP-1/TIMP-1 of the exercise group a were higher than the blank groups, the differences were significant; also the privation group is lower than the exercise group, the treatment group is lower than the treatment-control group, and all this differences are significant.Conclusion:1.Six weeks electrical stimulation on the jumping movement of rats had obvious enthesiopathy signs, the expression of MMP-1 and TIMP-1 are disorder.2.Electroacupuncture can significantly improve the enthesiopathy of the rat Achilles tendon, there are effective prevention and treatment for enthesiopathy .
