The Influence From The Introduction Of Foreign Players On Chinese Volleyball Professionalization

Foreign players are a new product in the process of professionalized volleyball in China. However, since 1996, when Chinese volleyball began to be professionalization, very few foreign players have been in introduced. Five foreign players coming from HengDa Woman volleyball Team in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 competition seasons and two other ones brought in by Fujian Woman volleyball Team in 2010-2011 competition season have showed brilliant volleyball techniques to Chinese audience. Meanwhile, they also added attractive points to deserted league tournaments. The thesis has taken literature material method, questionnaire method, mathematical statistics, and logical thinking method to study the foreign players brought into China in recent years, considerations and factors of their introduction, together with the ways, purposes, negative and positive influences of their coming. The results are as follows:1 The introduction of foreign player has a vital role to promote the professionalization of Chinese volleyball, enlivening the volleyball market, pouring new energy into the league tournament, attracting audience, improving the level of matches, and greatly affecting the accomplishments of league matches for every club and its commercial management.2 The introduction of foreign players can facilitate the communication of volleyball culture with other western countries, learning advanced volleyball ideas. In addition, the beginning of western countries'volleyball professionalization was rather early and their levels are very high, from which we could learn some experience that will greatly promote Chinese volleyball professionalization.3 The low level of part of foreign player impacted audiences'interest, leading to the waste of funds of clubs, which is not worth the candle for those clubs in poor 4. In the process of Chinese volleyball professionalization, we should courageously learn and use the mature and salutary experience and measures of other countries for reference and make full use of our own advantages. In the meantime, we object to complete copy which is separated from Chinese reality. The proper way is to combine the developmental discipline with our national conditions and sport states, realizing a professional sport way with Chinese socialist features based on international successful developmental experience of sport.
