Biology is a natural science based on experiments. The idea that learning science through experiments, is adequately embodied in"The new biological course (experiment) standards of junior high school". Not only researching experiments are increased, but also DIY modules are set in the textbook. Many experimental teaching activities need to be finished in the laboratory. But the conditions of our existing laboratory and the management mode can't satisfy the experiment teaching needs of the new biology curriculum. According to the new course standards, the author put forward the proposals for reforming laboratory management in many respects, and various measures were implemented. In order to evaluate the achievements of the scientific management reform, the author carried out detailed surveys in Xishan Middle School by the questionnaire before and after the scientific management reform, respectively. The results showed that the scientific management promoted the experimental teaching, and improved the learning interest and effect of the students. Satisfaction of the teachers and students were obviously improved. This research provides practical significance for further exploration the scientific management of biology laboratory in junior high school, in the countryside of Southern Jiangsu.
