As the commanding point and breakthrough of educational reform, teachers'educational technology ability has been the necessary quality and capability to teachers for meeting the challenge of educational informlization and developing own profession. In order to help teachers realize the switch from traditional teachers to ones of new style in information age, training teachers in the respect of education technology ability is very significant. Trainings for educational technology nowadays are almost based on the traditional educational methods and designing ideas, which is a lack of timeliness and relevance. They can not assist teachers to accomplish the switch and improvement; and it seriously affects the quality and benefit of trainings.The project of Intel(?) Teach to the Future is operated by Intel Corporation. It aims at training teachers all over the world and began in January, 2000. So far, 1,000,000 teachers of elementary and secondary schools have been trained in China. The object of this training is teachers of various subjects just teaching in primary and middle schools. The project, whose center is students, is based on modern educational technology. It leads teachers how to implement training project about researching course and development and application of study resource. It is characterized with highly informlization. It aims to strengthen teachers'informational accomplishment, improve teachers'educational technology ability and develop practical wisdom on the design of information teaching.The research is theoretical and practical exploration for improving teachers'educational technology ability. With reference of training ideas and the practical research of project training of Intel(?) Teach to the Future in Heilongjiang, based on own training experience, the author will analyze training effects, reflect the advantages as well as disadvantages, and construct a set of training mode based on improving teachers'educational technology ability, in order to find out some effective and sustainable development means which is more suitable for teachers of elementary and secondary schools to improve educational technology ability.The research is made up of five parts. It contains the abstracts as follows:The first part: Introduction. The thesis completely enunciates the research in the respects of background, purpose, significance, content, key point and means. The second part: Overview of the project of Intel(?) Teach to the Future. It summarizes the implementation, development at home and abroad, characteristic of courses, educational idea and training modes of Intel(?) Teach to the Future.The third part: Practical research of Intel(?) Teach to the Future. It introduces the exact situation of training and operation in Heilongjiang. Though interviews and questionnaires, this thesis makes a research to tract the training effect, and comes up with the analysis and reflection of training. It excavates and refines more deeply the ideal of Intel(?) Teach to the Future, summarizing the advantages and shortcomings objectively.The forth part: Construction of training mode of teachers'educational technology ability, the essential point of the thesis. It makes a contrast between Intel(?) Teach to the Future and existing training of teachers'educational technology ability. With redeeming qualities of Intel(?) Teach to the Future, the thesis constructs a new training mode base on development of teachers'educational technology ability, and optimizes training effects of teachers'educational technology ability. In addition, it promotes actively development and innovation of teachers'educational technology ability both in theory and practice.The fifth part: Conclusion. The thesis summarizes the main research, pointing out the direction of exploration and study in future.
