The teaching material is playing a vital role in English teaching,It is the important constituent of English curriculum implements. It is an import prerequisite to choose the appropriate teaching material when you want to achieve the teaching goals required. The teaching material will play a positive role in teaching process if they are in a high level or a high grade. As the main media and fundamental unit of the primary English teaching activities, the textbook of primary English plays the vital role in curriculum. Therefore, the quality of elementary school English teaching material will directly influence the curriculum implementation and teaching affect. So it's import and necessary to enhance the study of elementary school English teaching material according to the teaching material establishment theory and the research results. But at the same time, we also have to pay attention to the psychological characteristics of elementary students.EEC Primary English is the analysis object of this dissertation, which aims at judging whether it accords with the new curriculum reforms whether it conforms to the curriculum standard requirement, whether it's helpful to the elementary student language knowledge skill development ; Revealing which aspects this teaching material also does have to consummate in, and provides the opinion and the reference for the general teachers and the teaching material editors.There are five parts in this article. Chapter One is the introduction, it's mainly to elaborate the background, the goal and the significance of the research and so on. The rationale of this article is in Chapter Two and Chapter Three. Chapter Two summarizes the theoretical basis of this article. Chapter Three carries on the summary to elementary student's psychological characteristic.Chapter Four is the main part of this paper. The author has carried on the elaborate analysis and appraisal from interior and exterior angles. Chapter five is the summary of this paper. It's mainly to elaborate the results of this study.
