| On the behalf of traditional culture of Chinese nation, the Martial Art was pregnant with unfading militarism during endless historic development. With the development of society and the progress of times, the Martial Art was increasingly accepted by numerous countries in the world, and it′s prospect was pay close attention. The society put forward higher and updated require for education of Martial Art talents. As the cradle of Martial Art talents, the qualities of major optional course of P.E major in the colleges and universities directly affected the development. This paper conducted a study about status of development and problem of major optional course of P.E major in the colleges and universities. By investigate research and analysis about educational objectives, proportion of credits, selection about contents of course, major teachers, teaching conditions and students of major optional course of P.E major in ten colleges and universities, this paper proposed corresponding advises for offering the consult and help on the educational reform of P.E undergraduate program and contents adjustment of Martial Art major course. The research results showed:(1) The primary target of teaching program of Martial Art major course in the most colleges and universities was to foster the students who can complete the teaching and amateur training jobs of Martial Art, however, only few teaching program was to foster the fitness guidance the capabilities of communities, contest organization and referee.(2) The teaching contents of Martial Art major course were old-fashioned, and it had too much difficulty and single structure. The phenomenon of"pay attention to technology,look down on theory"was extremely obvious. The selection of teaching contents lacked scientificity and rationality, and can not accept by the students.(3)The class hour install lied differences, and the developments were unbalanced in the colleges and universities.(4)The check patterns of Martial Art major course were simple, and the contents of check were one-sided, so the check can not scientific judge the learning effect of students.(5)The objective of learning Martial Art in the most students was for college entrance examination, so the whole foundation was poor.(6) The professional skill, teaching capabilities and teaching manners in the part teachers of Martial Art major course were not completely approved by students. (7)From the educational background and structure of teaching, it fundamentally meted the need of teaching, however there lied differences.(8)The dedicated stadiums of Martial Art major course were not enough, and the most faculties did not subscribe for literatures of Martial Art. |
