To investigate the effect of choice test on university students'long-term memory, this paper designs four experiments joined by university students to study the effect of the number of choice, feedback or not, the way of feedback and open book or not on university students'long-term memory.Experiment one examines the effect of choice test on university students'long-term memory. This research uses the analysis of variance 2x2 and draws the following result: There exits testing effect and test group has the better learning effect, and there exits interaction effect between the time and learning style.Experiment two examines the effect of open book or not on university students'long-term memory. This research uses the analysis of variance 2x4 and draws the following result:1.Open book or not has no significant difference in memory lasting.2.There is significant difference in learning effect by the number of options of zero, two and four. And there is no significant difference in learning effect by the number of options of four and six. And learning effect by the number of options of is benefit for memory lasting but produces mistake easily.Experiment three examines the effect of feedback or not, the number of options of multiple choice and test time on memory effect. This research uses the analysis of variance 2x4 and draws the following result:1.feedback relates positively to the whole test, and the effect of it is better than no feedback.2.There is significant difference in accuracy of remember and occurrence rate of lure words.Experiment three examines the effect of feedback style, the number of options of multiple choice and test time on memory effect. This research uses the mixed design 4x2x2 and draws the following result:1.delay feedback relates positively to the whole test, and the effect of it is better than no instant feedback.2.There is significant difference in accuracy of recall and occurrence rate of lures.3.There is interacte effect among feedback style, the number of options of multiple choice and test time. The result shows that:1.This experiment proves the existence of testing effect. Compared by relearning group, test group shows better recall accuracy.2.The accuracy of test becomes low with the time.3.There is negative guiding effect and the number of options of multiple choice has effect on test effect. Number of options of three has negative effect on later experiment and becomes interference.4.Instant feedback and delay feedback t has no significant difference in accuracy.
