A Study Of Impact With Donation Of Local Public Colleges Alumni

In the present situation of the state financial insufficient investment,fund shortage problem has become a big bottleneck in the development of our local public colleges. It is a trend that higher education funding channels and higher education funding sources of diversification can promote higher education development. Alumni donation as an effective form of multi-canal financing has great far-reaching significance for colleges to relieve fund tension and promote development healthy. Which factors would affect the alumni's donation and how to affect? This article will use the literature research and empirical analysis to solve the above problems.Based on social identity theory, social exchange theory, the quality of service theory, combining with document study, this article reviewed the influence factors of alumni donation for university characteristics, alumni characteristics, alumni identity, demography variable of the four aspects. Local public colleges alumni donated conceptual model were set by the prestige, organizational competition, education service quality as independent variables, the identity as intermediary variable, and the alumni's donation as the result variable. The inspection of the model was through the correlation analysis and regression analysis.Through the above research this paper get the following conclusions: positive correlation was excited between the prestige, organizational competition, education service quality and alumni identity, positive correlation was also excited between the prestige, organizational competition, education service quality and alumni donation, donation has positive correlation related to the alumni identity, among them, alumni identity played a partial intermediary variable role. Research conclusion would benefit to form theoretical research system based on alumni donation in public colleges and colleges ability to access resources. At the same time, it was beneficial to supplement and complete alumni donation theory and also has far-reaching significance to promote the development of colleges sustainable.
