As the Internet has increasingly become an essential part of people's lives, it makes a significant impact in people's thoughts on society and daily behavior. So it rises some phenomena that people choose to create and develop their own emotional life on the Internet, and online-love is one of that. However, people seem to always meeting a variety of problems in online-love, and the result is not as good as people expect. And people would like to use the Internet to choose their own marriage object.This article studies the courtship from the "risk" perspective. Giddens believes that the society is full of risk we live in today, and this point of view used in the field of personal and emotional life is more relevant with than use in any other areas. And at the same time, Giddens believes that modern risk is inextricably linked with modern. The online-love is the social phenomenon basing on modern dating and personal feelings. So, this article studies the courtship from the "risk" perspective. By summarize the online risk and its performance, and analysis the causes of the risk of online dating, we will explain the risks to people and emotional impact negatively. Thus guide people's emotional experience in the network.This study is a qualitative research, Including virtual anthropological methods and the literature method. I found 18 typical cases through the accidental sampling and the snowball method. I meanly use the interviews, observation, literature and virtual fieldwork and other means to collect the data.This study discovers that as a new form of marriage, the online-love is generally accepted by the community, and is a new approach that people use to carry out marriage life. And the theory about risk can explain problems and the impact on people in online-love. The study believes that online-love has more uncertainty than the love in the real life, the failure of online-love could bring severe emotional harm to people, and risk of love exists both in real life and the Cyberspace but the latter has greater risk.
