Teachers'living conditions and self-development are the most fundamental concerns of education. The sense of happiness about career is an important indicator in judging the quality of teachers'work and it is an important part of their professional life. It is not only closely related to teachers'working enthusiasm, but is also the power source of promoting their professional development, playing an essential role in improving the education quality and stability of teaching staff. As the main force of college students'affairs, college instructors struggle in the front line of student management, so they has an great impact on students'physical and mental development. To some extent, instructors' attitudes towards life and career would affect students'attitudes towards life and study. Like other college instructors, Independent College instructors also shoulder the responsibility of educating, serving and managing college students. However, researches about their sense of happiness about career are quite few at present, so concerns about this topic have both practical and theoretical significance.The topic of this study is about the independent college instructors' sense of happiness about career. It attempts to describe the professional life of instructors in Wuhan Sunshine College (alias) in detail. Then it concerns about instructors'inner experience, excavates their life connotation, promotes their life quality, and seeks their sense of happiness about career.This study uses a qualitative research method to probe into specifically the professional life of instructors in an Independent College in Wuhan, from perspectives of sociology, psychology, management, and ecology of human development. It truthfully reflects the status of independent college instructors'sense of happiness about career through field surveys and in-depth interviews, so as to explore the characteristics and influencing factors of instructors'sense of happiness about career. It is found that the sense of happiness about career of independent college instructors is characterized by changeful, spiritual, dedicate, creative and is influenced by the environment, the work itself and counselors themselves. Based on that, it puts forward suggestions of pursuing and promoting Independent College counselors'sense of happiness about career from three aspects of counselors themselves, the Independent Colleges and society.
