The Academy is a special kind of education in ancient China educates organization. It starts from the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Song Dynasty, continuing in the Yuan, popularity in the Ming and Qing, die in the late Qing reform. With the emergence and development of the Ancient Academy, its culture is emerging and develops. The Academy in ancient China has a significant place, its goal is to establish the concept of Confucian ethics, improve the individual's internal moral quality, so people in their daily life can properly deal with various relationships, led to the whole community a harmonious and orderly state. It is under the guidance of this goal, the Academy gradually formed its own unique cultural characteristics, such as respect for teachers; develops harmonious relations between teachers and students; emphasizing academic tradition; enshrines the sages; promote academic freedom, abandons martial opinion and the emphasis on moral education; emphases self-cultivation sensible and so on.In the above characteristics of the academy culture, the Academy educators make the moral education to the first in the Academy education, the teaching of moral education permeate into every aspect of the academy activities, and institutionalized it as charters or school regulations, so that the traditional emphasis on moral education were fully revealed. It was in this kind of edu-cation, under the influence of this ideology, the ancient academy generally formed a variety of moral thoughts. The content of the Academy moral education including cultivation education and human relations education. The cultivation education is display as determination; diligence; exercise; cautiousness; introspection. The human relations education is mainly embodied in filial piety; justice education and integrity education. To implement the Academy's educational philosophy and personnel training objectives, the Academy implemented a building based upon the moral education curriculum; make the followers learning the rules; set the moral assessment system; worship the saints and sages; guide students emulate and create a moral function in the natural-human environment; launch "talk leisure " , "society courses" and a series of moral education class to improve its education system and enhance the effectiveness the moral education of Academy.The ancient academy is a product of the feudal society, so its moral education has a certain historical limitations inevitable, such as emphasis on moral education, make loyalty equate to patriotism unconsciously; fetter the disciples'thought and speech by the feudal patriarchal relations and so on. But we can not reject the essence of moral education, we should see that its moral system are rich in the moral thinking of the Academy of Education to create a relaxed environment, the vision of free independent, skeptical critical, open innovation spirit, the pursuit of moral virtue as the purport of the educational purposes, which are missing in the contemporary university education, We should select the essence, abandoned its dross, get useful experience and lessons of inspiration from the ancient academy moral education and learn to work better for the contemporary moral education.
