Sound personality is based on self-confidence, so cultivating the students' self-confidence is one of the topic of the modern quality education. Confidence research itself has its high value in the social practice field, and study confidence is the important embodiment of self-efficacy theory in education field. Study confidence reflects the individual's subjective judgment of his own control learning behavior and learning achievements. It also helps evaluate, to what degree, the individual itself can use the ability or skill he has to complete the study tasks, which indirectly affects students'academic achievements. Therefore, self-confidence in learning is worth our attention. Nowadays one of the biggest drawbacks in the school education is the lack of self-confidence cultivation. Too many requirements and excessive competition make a very big part of students into the losers. They lose confidence about the future and become humbled. So it is a very important task to cultivate the students'learning confidence in the school training.This essay focuses on students'study confidence in politics learning and the subjects are high school students. This essay introduces the current research situation of self-confidence in learning. From the state, schools and students'development perspectives, this essay states the significance of improving students'self-confidence in learning politics. Questionnaires have been designed to examine the current students'self-learning confidence situation about politics learning and I have found that students have low confidence in learning political lessons by themselves. On the top of this, this essay analyzes the reasons for students'lack of self-confidence in politics learning from psychological characteristics and physical behavior respectively. Also, this essay analyzes the reasons from another three different aspects; that is, from individual students, school and society. Finally this essay probes strategies of cultivating students'self-confidence in politics learning from teachers'idea, teacher's strategy and social support. I hope this essay will give the proposed model to the current new curriculum reform and quality education implementation.
