Interest group is a structured group for communitarian of common interest joined together to influence government policy for certain purposes. It is not only exist in the politics of the United States, many countries in the world, have also been affected by interest groups in varying degrees, but compared to other countries in the world. United States has the largest number of interest groups and the most prominent influence on government decision-making in the world.Starting from the interest groups, we can understand the American political process better. It is embodied in the form of American democracy and the U.S. Constitution makes interest groups exist in the legal status in the United States. Interest groups is pervasive in Political life of United States, get involved in the United States legislative, executive and judicial processes and have considerable influence of the announce and formulate of federal government laws and policies. Therefore, if you want to in-depth understanding of American domestic and foreign policies, not only to pay attention to the movements of the Government, but also to familiar with American interests.So in this context, the writer will elaborate discourse on the interest groups in the United States, and then analysis the performance and function of Interest group in American political life. The detailed analysis and overview of U.S. interest groups is the bases that help us to understand the U.S. government decision-making. Generally speaking, people pass different judgment on the United States interest groups, however, this thesis still tends to the advantages outweighs the disadvantages.
