Service learning combines community service with classroom instruction, focusing on critical, reflective thinking as well as personal and civic responsibility. Service learning programs involve students in activities that address local needs while developing their academic skills and commitment to their community. The effect of service learning not only is service or learning, but also influences and encourages students to lifelong learning and lifelong service to the community. At present, many colleges and universities focus on social practice, but most still remain in the labor stage, not enough focus on the process of student learning in practice. Service-learning has risen and developed for many years in other countries, and is implementing in Taiwan and Hong Kong.In order to help students to understand the significance of the Service-Learning, get self-growth in service activities, insert the abilities for careers in future, and build the service's outlook to life, we designed and implemented the Service-Learning curriculum.This paper aims to explore the feasibility and effect in using inquiry resources for Service-learning curriculum by the implementation of Service-Learning curriculum. Through the study of foreign and Taiwan implemented Service-Learning curriculum, we designed and implemented Service-Learning curriculum with the existing conditions.Through literature studies and the analyzed questionnaire involved by students, the findings of this research are as follows.1,Colleges and universities implement Service-Learning curriculum helps students to carry out a comprehensive development, and service learning is the development trend of future education.2,Undergraduates have higher motivation in participating in Service-Learning curriculum.3,Using inquiry resources to implement Service-learning curriculum can increase student's interesting in learning the curriculum, and promote student's knowledge, skills, and emotional aspects of development. 4,Using inquiry resources to implement Service-learning curriculum is certain mandatory, students has to take a lot of time for this curriculum and it may be inappropriate for some students.5,Using inquiry resources to implement Service-learning curriculum increased the workload to teachers and put forward higher requirements for teachers.Based on the literature review and the questionnaire survey results from students who participated in the Service-Learning curriculum, the recommendations are as follows:1,In the service-learning curriculum theory description phase, we need to describe the effects of the service-learning to the social and personal development, and encourage students to participate in service-learning activities.2,Using inquiry resources to implement Service-learning curriculum increased the workload to the teachers who need a lot of times in this curriculum, we can refer to Taiwan's successful experience in Service-learning curriculums, establish a Service-learning curriculum administration and configure Full-time teachers.
