Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasure Of Student Wushu Association In Universities In Beijing

Against the major background of carrying forward the national spirit, the country and more people have paid much attention to Wushu. It has been an important subject to inherit and develop Wushu. Many experts, scholars, and non-governmental persons have given their opinions through different aspects and levels. In this paper, Wushu associations among college students should be valued for these associations have been important fronts to spread Wushu. Nowadays, many amateurish Wushu associations have established in their colleges. But at the same time, these associations have faced a great deal of problems, and also have shown off some shortages. If we do not research and solve these problems, and do not instruct them to develop, functions of these associations could be affected deeply and also there are no goodness to inherit and disseminate Wushu. Therefore, it is important to know some basic situations of these Wushu associations, analysis difficulties and problems these associations have faced, probe thoughts and ideas of development.Research method: Document-data method; interviewing method; logical analysis; case study method.Result of study: through investigation of 24 college Wushu associations in Beijing, these associations have developed good effects to enrich campus culture, inherit and disseminate Wushu Culture, promote physical and mental health of students, develop all-roundly. But at the same time, these college Wushu associations have faced many serious problems: unclear position of association, murky direction of development,; confused organization, inadequate ability of people in charge; low enthusiasm of train; low level of Wushu skill, difficulty on inheriting and disseminating; members are disappointed at association and not responsible for their tasks, thus outflow of members; poor external conditions of these Wushu associations, for example, lack of funds and elder coach, poor condition of training ground, short of college support.In order to solve these common problems, I have made a investigation of 24 college Wushu associations, especially researched several excellent associations deeply. This paper has proposed several suggestions of development to members and especially people in charge by summarizing exhortation and experience of these 24 associations:1 Make clear of main purposes of college Wushu association, and set up right developing direction;2 Strengthen the ability to serve for members;3 Focus to culture talented people to level up ability of sustainable development;4 Complete each system to normalize running program of association; 5 Enhance popularity and influence of association, struggle more external resource to improve external condition of development.
