Exploration Of University Students' Self-education

With the development of reform and opening up, the ability of individual put forward higher requirement. So that self-education is very important. University students are the builders and successors of socialist modernization. Their self-education status affect their ideological and political qualities, as well as, affect their overall quality. However, there are still some problems of college students' self-education, which affect the effective of ideological and political education. Therefore, the current task of ideological and political education is to seek ways to resolve the problem of college students'self-education. Through the questionnaire survey to ascertain the current status of self-education students, this paper explores the existing problems, and propose countermeasures and recommendations to enhance college students'self-education.There are five parts of the article. The first part is the introduction, which explores the research background, significance, status, methods, and describes the innovative point of this article. The second part explores the meaning of self-education and analyses self-education theoretical origin. This section describes the connotation of self-education, and explores the theoretical basis for self-education.The third section focuses on the importance of college students' self-education. Self-education is the need of the times development. Self-education is the inherent requirements of ideological and political education. Self-education is the college students'need. The fourth part is survey and analysis of college students' self-education. On the one hand, it analyses the status of college students' self-education. On the other hand, it explores the causes of college students' self-education, mainly on the social environment, ideological and political education and factors of college students. The fifth part explores the path of strengthening the college students'self-education.
