In recent years, with the rapid increase of working pressure, company trainings become one of the important ways to improve their ovwn ability and meet the requirements of lifelong learning for employees of company. However, due to various constraint factors, such as the conflicts of working and learning or unable or unconvenient to access network, the employees have higher demands on the mobility and flexibility of learning during the process of trainings. Mobile learning is a kind of new learning ways to enable the employees to learning at any time and anywhere with the help of wireless communication network and mobile phone terminals.On the basis of referring to a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, we analyze and summarise some relevant theories of mobile learning and discuss its current research situations. After that, we design and implement a mobile learning system based on Ophone- OMLMS aiming to solve the problems existing in the trainings of China Mobile Group Guangdong Company Limited.In this paper, we first introduce the theories and definitions about mobile learning, and then analyze the stream media technology in mobile learning, as well as OMS and Ophone. Secondly, we discuss the feasibility of OMLMS on the basis of current situations and requirements of employee training in China Mobile Group Guangdong Company Limited. After that, we continue to discuss the design goals, functional analysis and structures, system architecture of OMLMS. We also implement and verify some important functional modules of OMLMS based on the above designs. Finally, we summarise the work of this paper and point out the existing problems and future research directions.This paper focuses on the theories and applications of mobile learnings and apply it into the trainings for company employees. The paper also discusses how to take full advantage of current 3G and mobile communication technologies to develop a mobile learning management system, which is suitable for employees of China Mobile Group Guangdong Company Limited and uses mobile multi-media as the learning materials.
